Indian security services and equipment market is expected to raise 25% by 2015 which is nearly 600 BN. Due to globalization and growth in the several key sectors in economy including infrastructure, real estate , Retails, PSU, Telecommunication, information technology and Entertainment etc., has resulted the demand for private security services.
Are these industries equipped with the capable pool of guard force and capability of handling the security and technologies to compete for global standards? Guard force requires a standard training on physical, technology; psychology and intelligence to effectively fulfill the responsibilities, and it should not limit itself at the time of recruiting. they need to be trained periodically to compete in present environment.
Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI) has taken initiative in articulating the global standards and best practices for private security industry.
Huge number of employment opportunities in the industry can fulfill the unemployment rate to the considerable rate. Every state has to come up with the training schools for private security guards to fulfill the opportunities.
